Where Vision Meets Execution
Exclusive preview
Start with two chapters.
Before the book hits print, Tim is sharing the first two chapters—completely free. Read them, work through the exercises, and decide for yourself if this is the guide you have been looking for.
01
Chapter one
The Mirror Test
Identifying your strengths, confronting your gaps, and finding your true purpose.
Before you name the business, build the logo, or spend a single dollar, you need to see yourself clearly. This chapter asks the hard questions and gives you the tools to answer them, including a full SWOT self-assessment and a Business Owner Competency Self-Assessment.
“The entrepreneurs who skip this work invest their savings and two years of their lives into businesses built on foundations of assumption, ego, and wishful thinking.”
02
Chapter two
The Corporate Crossroads
When the career you built no longer wants you—and entrepreneurship becomes the answer nobody planned.
Nobody plans for it the way it actually happens: the Monday morning HR meeting, the box for your personal items, the severance agreement written by their attorneys. This chapter is for every professional who has stood at that crossroads—and shows you how to turn that moment into a beginning.
“You have twenty or thirty years of institutional knowledge in your head and nowhere obvious to take it—until now.”
Hungry for more? All 17 chapters, the 90-Day Action Plan, a comprehensive FAQ, and exercises throughout are coming in print.

Tim’s mission
“I did not write this book to inspire you. I wrote it to equip you.”
There are already enough books that make entrepreneurship sound like a calling reserved for the special few. This book starts from a different premise: you already have what it takes—and what you need is a guide that respects your intelligence, your constraints, and your potential, and walks with you, chapter by chapter, to the other side.

About the author
A builder who knows the work.
U.S. Air Force Veteran · Serial Entrepreneur · Speaker
Tim Barber is not a theorist or an academic studying entrepreneurship from the outside. He is a United States Air Force veteran who has built businesses from the ground up—with real constraints, real setbacks, and real wins—and has spent his career helping others do the same.
The discipline, systems thinking, and mission-execution precision the Air Force instilled in Tim became the foundation of every business he built and every piece of guidance he offers.
He wrote Entrepreneurship Made Easy to fill a gap: a comprehensive, practical, honest guide for Black and Brown entrepreneurs—and anyone else with the drive to build—that respects their circumstances and shows them how.
Tim operates Barber Enterprises, LLC and Barber Holding, LLC. He continues to speak, write, and advocate on entrepreneurship, veteran transition, and community economic empowerment.
